Luke Smith has over 20 years of Microsoft technology experience, His main competency and experience is in delivering Microsoft cloud services (Azure, EMS and Office 365). Luke has led and informed cloud strategies for a number of large customers, leading Gold Microsoft Partners and has been an early contributor to the UK Microsoft Azure & Office 365 communities. Member of the initial Azure inner circle. Luke’s passion for Cloud and knowledge has resulted in him being invited to Microsoft’s first generation of P-TSP(Partner Technology Solutions Professional) for Microsoft.
Over his career Luke has developed a number successful cloud practices spanning from Professional Services, Managed Services, and IP based offerings. He has been working with Microsoft Technologies since DOS 5.0, to date his worked on small to large scale implementations of Azure, Windows 10, SharePoint and Office 36. Today he is a Director-at-Large for Elysian IT, a leading Microsoft SI/MSP and consults partners in establishing a successful cloud practice.
In addition to Microsoft technologies mentioned Luke has good working knowledge of the following vendors products: Kemp Loadmaster, Barracuda, CISCO, HP, NAS\SAN, Dell Blade, Polycom, Servers and Storage, K2, Nintex, Sophos, networking typologies, MY SQL, PHP, ASP, Symantec Cloud, MIMECAST and Sunsystems.
